Norman Wright was born and educated in Glasgow, Scotland.

Norman began sketching and painting at an early age, and later in his early twenties studied fine art at the Glasgow School of Art, now considered one of Europe’s finest art institutes.

Norman emigrated to Canada in 1968 and now lives in Toronto.

Norman spent many years painting in both oils and acrylics featuring mainly landscape and wildlife subjects.
Norman's 'Catnat Series' was particularly popular featuring both wild and domestic cats.
