Traditionally painted portraits are expensive. They are very labour intensive and time is money.
PhotoArt is produced using the latest painting software and a quality photograph either supplied by the client or taken by ourselves.
First we bring in the photograph then have the program begin to lay in the underpainting. We decide when to halt this process and take over adding and blending details as necessary. We prefer to keep the faces true to the photograph and the surrounding details fairly loose so as to emphasize the face as the focal point. Since PhotoArt takes a lot less time than a conventional painting we can offer them at a very reasonable price.

Send us an image as an email attachment and we will let you know if it is suitable for the PhotoArt process. Adults, children and pets are a speciality.
Photograph requirements.
Photo must be in
colour.
Image must be sharp and properly lit.
Scanned images or digital prints must be at least 200dpi at 8 x
10 inches. Contact us if you have any questions.
Prices start
at $49 for framed and matted 8 1/2 x 11 paper size.
